Sézanne, city of character

Sézanne is truly a small town of character in the Champagne region.

Its history begins in the stone age and then in the Gallo-Roman period.

His rise, following the diversion of the Grand Morin river by the monks of Saint-Julien, comes the construction of the castle by Count Thibaud I.

Until the 17th century, Sézanne was a major city in the Champagne region.
